    AR Build Questons

I have a new lower on the way in 5.56/223

What upper calibers can I shoot off of that lower?
    I think I can shoot 260 or 6.5 but maybe I'm wrong.

I want to go with a varmint upper.......Which ones do yall suggest?

    Post some pics for ideas!

You can build a 6.5 Grendel but would not be able to build a 260 Remington.

.243 will not fit in the standard AR15 lower (.223/5.56 marked). This will go into an AR10 lower (DPMS/Armalite .308 lower).

6.5 Grendel and 6.8SPC, .204 ruger, 25 WSSM, 243 WSSM, 223 Wylde. There's an even more extensive list, but for hunting purposes as he has asked, these are the most common.

.243 WSSM will fit into a Standard AR15 Lower.

              yup, what he said.

Ammo is here now for the 6.8spc and will be soon for the 6.5 grendel. I'd consider a 25wssm upper at some point, but the 556 uppers i have now will do what you want. small bullet, fast flat trajectory and minimal dmg to pelts. toss in a few deer and call it good! cost for good ammo is less that $20/box.
