So my wife flew to Texas for the weekend to visit family. Her flight back to Kansas City was this afternoon. I was at the airport to pick her up. She was scheduled to land at 4:35, but when I got to the airport, her flight was a little delayed and it was scheduled to land at 4:40. No worries. At 4:55 it finally landed. No worries, it was cloudy and that was probably the reason for the delay.
We make our way to the baggage claim. the bags start coming, and after about 6-7 bages they stop. We question this and we are told they will be on the next flight... Which lands at 5:30.. Great. We had plans so we should be okay.
The 5:30 flight arrives, and, you guessed it NO BAGS.... I question this again and I am rudely told, the flight that they are on is still in the air..
90% of the people on the same flight as my wife DO NOT have their luggage either; but here is the kicker; We watched on lady from the 5:30 flight look for her luggage. She could not find it. Her luggage was ACTUALLY on my wife's flight. Her luggage beat her to Kansas City by 45 minutes.
Finally, 6:30 rolls around (1 hr. and 40 minutes later) her luggage shows up.
There was No explanation for the delay. There was No Apologizes for the Delay. And when I ask about the increased fee I had to pay for parking, I received a "Are you Crazy???" Look.... And to think my wife had to pay $20 to check the bag, and then an additional $15 for parking, plus the plans we had for the evening had to be canceled..... Great....
WHAT EVER HAPPENED TO CUSTOMER SERVICE?????? The first thing I checked when we got her bag was her tag. The tag plainly showed her Flight Number 2274.. The flight it showed up on was 3363... Nowhere do any of these numbers match.. Everyone on the flight 3363 had their luggage as well as the 90% from flight 2274... I guess the people on flight 3363 had lighter luggage??? We all ask, yet never received any explanation...
This has to be the craziest thing I have ever seen...
Sorry for the long rant..
