MOD PM Me

Can a mod PM me as to why my thread got shut down. I just reread the forum guidelines and couldnt see why it was locked according to the guidelines. I also noticed that my G.W. Impeachment question was removed. Is there a mod out there that is following me around deleting what I say????

The proper avenue is to PM or email the mods. Calling them out publicly is against the rules!

I dont know what Mod locked it how would i pm them? When did i call them out? Can you explain that to me. It's been happening alot that's why I asked. I enjoy the sight. Just didnt know what I did wrong.

Anytime someone posts a topic that's controversial (politics, immigration, religion, etc.) it's probably gonna get pulled. Sometimes it's a preemptive "shhh", but all the Mods have been around long enough to know where topics will more than likely head and in the end only cause hard feelings.

Along the same lines, forwarded emails, jokes, posting multiple threads on the same topic, etc. only cause forum clutter and really add nothing to the quality of the forum. (As does posting a thread asking a Mod to PM them because their thread was closed. )

Everyone needs to understand it's nothing personal. We don't follow people around looking to pull or close their threads. It always amazes me the belligerent, rude PM's and emails we get from people thinking we’re singling them out and they’re being treated unfairly. Again, it’s nothing personal, we're simply trying to maintain the quality of this discussion forum at the level Michael has always strived for and I believe brought it to.
