Since I have been skunked so far this year on my lease in Nacogdoches and the thieves have cleaned us out, I have decided to change leases for 2010 and I think that I have a place in Rusk. I have seen some of the pictures of deer killed in the past and they look impressive. Can anyone give me their opinion of the area?

we have been on a lease about 5 miles east of rusk for 4 years, so far we have taken a spike and 2 does all in the last 2 years. my dad and i are the only people on our 177 acre lease. we have been seeing more and better deer on our cameras over the last 2 years just haven't been able to seal the deal. -
I live in Henderson but hunt Panola mainly. Some great deer have been taken in Rusk County this year. What part are you looking at?
I think Roy D Mercer on here hunts in South Rusk County. THere have been some nice ones taken on his place.

Really these folk shoot nice deer every year here. They manage and let'em grow up before killin them.
