    duck blind build! Pic heavy!

Well here is our semi finished floating blind! We worked several hours this past Wed and got about half way finished! We still need to brush it in alot more/better, put the roof on it, and get the pipe that will be used to hold it into place and keep us steady on the water! We did test it out in about waist deep water and it floats just fine, no problem with weight distribution! Do yall think 1 7/8th" pipe will be strong enough to hold this thing in place? Gonna run a piece on two of the corners down into the mud to hold us in place!

        Very nice work!!!

What we did on lake livingston North end in the old days wass to put PVC in the middle into the mud. We would get a 10 ft piece and run it into the middle of the blind down in the mud so when the river rose due to flooding it would float up the PVC and we would not lose our whole blind. It was also very stable!!!

Man that is a big blind and I bet it works great.

Good luck and take some pictures when it is in place.

Whodathunk 4 55 gallon drums would give you that much stability?
That 1 7/8" pipe should be more than enough.
You should add a trolling motor too!

Awesome inginuity. Please post some pictures of the finished product.
