Some Stats for the Site

I find it interesting that about this time last year, maybe a couple months earlier, we were discussing hitting our 1,000,000th post. It took from 2006-2008 to get there. It took half that time to get the next million. What's that old saying, "the first million is the hardest?" LOL!!

I have no idea. I don't recall how many posts we had in October 2006 when the server crapped the bed. I bet it might have been about as long, though. For whatever reason, it seems we really got busy when we put on the new software. Perhaps people were more familiar, or liked it better, but the thing started growing exponentially after the server crash.

Since we just sailed past 2,000,000 posts (since October 2006), I thought I'd crank some digits.

These values are for the last month only.

Registered users accessing per day (average) = 2327

Posts per day (average) = 2841

New threads per day (average) = 155

New users registering per day (average) = 19


You guys are nuts!!!

I'll look at some other interesting stuff and post what I find.

That explains why some pretty good threads get pushed so far back in such a short time! I think it's time to increase the number of threads per page.

Love the site, love the people, love the good times.

TBH has left a positive influence on my life! One I will carry with me forever. This place has seen me through some of the best and worst times in my life! Not to get all huggy feely but 99% of the people on here are top notch salt of the earth! I love you guys!! Even Breezy!!

I have met many lifetime friends on this place and am forever grateful.
