    My arrowhead collection

I'm an arrowhead fanatic and love looking for them. Here are some of the ones I have found. Some I have found on a buddies place in Freer( Trey aka Freer hunter) and the other I found on my lease in Laredo. Lets see some of your points.

Nice collection. I like to look for them as well, hence the avatar. How cool would it be to know the story of each one! They are little pieces of history.

Here's some of my collection. The large clovis caused quite a stir in the artifact world being over 4.5" and ~15,000 years old. The clovis, red river knife and the neches river point came from e. tx. The other assorted point - the large from Kerville and the others from the Lake Amistad area. I have one more I found at Jerry Johnston's ranch (Texas Trophy Hunter's fame) which was carried as a good luck charm on 2 hunts resulting in a 224+ deer and a 158 (I'll have to delete some pics to post that as I'm limited out).

Thanks. I didn't have a clue when I found it (I suspected clovis) but didn't know how rare and coveted they were. I got a lot of harsh treatment from the arrowhead forum where I posted to get some information on the point. They thought it was quite dubious that I found it on the side of the road while riding 4 wheelers. Once some of the experts saw it, all the hubub died away. I got to meet some really nice people from it. Hope I will here too!
