    How Big is this Pig?

Ok, before you say it, yes, this was photoshopped. I combined a night pic of the hog with the 8 pt. I overlayed and aligned the feeder from both pics so the scale is accurate. The deer is slightly in front of the hog, so if they were occupying the exact same spot, the deer would actually appear sligthly smaller.

We have another pic of him from several months ago, and we compared a pic of myself to the beast the same way. The highest point on his back is even with my inseam (34 inches)! In the last few months he has really put on the pounds. So, how much do you think he weighs?

    Thanks,

Hey Chew, it's right behind my house in Mills Branch! (joking) Yeah, I wish he was that close. We hunt north of Colmesneil, about an 1 1/2 hours away.

You never know! I got my first bow killed hog off of Atascocita Rd. behind the Sheriff's Academy. I was covered up in deer too! I wish I could find a place to hunt nearby. Good luck on getting that big boy. Isn't Colmesneil near Jasper? Seemed like we used to pass through there on the way to Louisiana.

Colmesneil is on HWY 69, north of Woodville. We're about 5 miles north of Colmesneil, just south of the Neches river.

BTW, I did see a few deer tracks on the greenbelt trail behind my house. Not huntable of course, but I was trying to figure out a way to put out my trailcam without the kids messing with it.

Big enough I would want to be in a SOLID tree stand when it is shot.

Maybe it is just a little Deer that is one big pig.

Howie, we've seen some pretty good ones. This past year was our first year to have a few trail cams out, and it's amazing to see how much the hogs grew from August to January.

A couple of years ago, we found some tracks down in a creek bottom that were the size of the palm of your hand! We definately have a problem on our hands.
