    Camera Advice

Looking at buying my wife a nice camera for X-mas. It would be mainly used for taking pics of our 2 kids and various family events. Looking spend no more than $1000 if possible. What do I need? Extra lenses?

    Thanks

see if this link will work for you. It is a search for all digital SLR cameras at B&H that are under $1000 (priced high to low). some are camera bodies only but there are some good kits with interchangeable lenses. This is a start at Cameras you "might" want to look at

I recently bought a Nikon Coolpix L100 at Bestest Buy about 5 months ago.

The total package was around $280 out the door.

It is very simple to use in that I can use it without having to get out the instructions or my 9 year old to show me how.

It does not have interchangeable lenses and stuff but it does have a 15x zoom and is easy to download pic onto a computer.

      Good camera for the money.
