    Help w/ bowhunting stand

Need help! With many stores having sales etc., I am thinking of buying a new stand to bow hunt out of next year. There are so many to choose from it makes it difficult. Of course I want comfort, mobility, quietness, and stability all for a cheap price! But serisously, do any of you recommend a good stand. I prefer a tripod so I'm not limited to a "certain" tree, but most of them don't seem to have a standing capability, (for bow hunting).???. Any advice would be appreciated, please hurry so I can let Santa know which one. Thanks.

Thanks for the info. I looked at the Woodsey Too stands. That seems to give a hunter tremendous options in hanging a stand. I guess you would just need some steps or ladder stick and you are set! After seeing the treestand model, I prefer it over a tri or quad pod. You can get better concealment and whatever heighth you want or need. Thanks again. Hope Santa brings it!

P.S. If you have to attach at a fairly steep angle, will it safely support your weight if leaning out, etc.

        tef,
Yes, a ladder will be needed. I have found some at academy for like $36 that go up to 15-20 ft. The two stands i have will easily support your movements. I have also attached a tie-down to the lower portion near the platform for additional stability. I don't know if that tie-down comes with the woodsey too's, if not, they are $10 at Harbor Freight for two or four of them...

Don't discount their quad pods either! The adjustability makes them very versatile. I have hunted out of both the tree stands and quads and they are both great stands!

Sounds good. I believe I'll try and get one. Do you know who sells them. I live about 60 miles east of Dallas. I noticed they are in Granbury. Do they ship from their or do they have retail dealers?
              Thanks.

Can anyone help me find a dealer for these. I've e-mailed and phoned the company direct but no response. Left mess. on recorder, no one has called back. Are they still in business? Does anyone know if someone else makes these type tree stands? Thanks.
