Going duck hunting this weekend, im an amature duck hunter, i've only been on a couple of trips. What shells should I use, shots will be anywhere from 10 to 30 yds over decoys, in the marsh.

Black cloud is good, I always shoot the remington nitro steel or the winchester super x.
"Super X" not the "Expert". Had some bad experiences with the "Experts" if they get wet. I shoot 2's , 3's , or 4's in the largest oz.s available on the shelf at wally world.Comment

Black Cloud x1000!!!! #4 is a good all around load but if the ducks aren't wanting to decoy or you have a chance at some geese I would go with #2 shot. These shells unequivocally kill birds DEAD. In two seasons of using them I have only had to chase down one wounded duck. If you don't want to spend the extra $ I would go with Drylok.Comment

I prefer black cloud 3" #2's, #3's, or #4's I use the biggest that's legal for where I'm hunting.
I can usually only afford Kent so I swing between Kent 3" #2/3/4s and Black Cloud.
I've used Winchester Xpert before they are alright for the money, can get them cheap at walmart if there on clearance, like $8/box

Mod or Imp/mod is ur best bet, I use a full and my dad uses a mod. I always take the pass shots, dad takes the decoy shots.

I use modified. But you need to make sure the choke can handle steel shot.Comment
