Well, I thought ........We have a mature buck on our place that was sporting a 6 point rack (no brow tines)......He was one of those deer that would be barely legal or barely under.....he was close. Well, sometime last week......he lost one complete side.....broke off at the pedicle.....nothing left. So, he has 1 branched antler, and no inside spread.......he really needs to go. Is he legal now ?Thanks braintrust.......

Click on your Region and County. It now has the GWs' cell numbers.

Just so happened we went to academy that day to get some supplies, saw a game warden there and asked him. He said not legal. I won $100. I see that deer all the time.
As far as the original deer, shoot him and break the other horn off at the pedicle and tag him as antlerless
Just kiddin

Personally, I would advise against it because that's not the intention of the AR.

I hate to disagree with Deena but an antler is a hardened protrubence through the skin. If it pierces the skin it is an antler no matter how small. How big does it have to be to be called a spike when you thought it was a doe?
You guys talking about 1" are thinking about scoring, not the law.

Maybe I am mis-reading the book.
