    Thin Blue Line

The blue line represents all law enforcement who daily protect this nation.

The black background was designed as a constant reminder of our fallen officers.

In honor of the four murdered Lakewood Police Officers in Washington State, I am changing my avatar to honor those fallen officers until their funerals on Tuesday, December 8.

God Bless my Brothers and Sisters in Blue who guard our streets EVERY DAY.

God Bless our Armed Services who guard our country EVERY DAY.

That is a very nice gesture and my heart goes out to the families of not only the Lakewood officers, but all of the fallen officers families. It is sad to have to constantly be reminded to watch my back due to another brother being killed in the line of duty.
Just FYI there have been over 100 officers killed in the line of duty this year, (113 to be exact) and if anyone is interested, www.odmp.org

Lakewood (Washington) Police Officers Greg Richards, Tina Griswold, Ronald Owens and Sergeant Mark Renninger.

Thanks for putting those up Bulldog.
I worked with RUC Officer Ricky Cox in Kosovo for about a year training Kosovar Police Officers. The Irish officers were top notch professionals.

And, thanks to my co-workers and other brother/sister officers who have allowed me to go home at the end of almost every shift for 27+ years despite my occasional errors in judgement and tactics. You've had my back and I'll always have yours. Be careful!

Does anyone know the translation and the history of this?
