Awesome work Shane. Looked good. I passed on a 8 pt Saturday evening, he plain walked 20 feet in front of me, while I was calling coyotes... craziest thing I've ever seen!! He was a little too young yet, 3.5 I guessed.

Sure freaked me out though. Still talking about it today.

That's pretty cool. I've heard lots of stories of mule deer coming to coyote calls too. Good luck finding you a shooter.

Thanks Shane. I'm going to Spur this weekend and might get a 6.5 yo spike that we have roaming around the place. Had a shot at him couple of weeks ago, and missed flat out.... made me sick. Good looking deer. But he's not my primary goal. Gotta clear out some sows. They're running off the doe.
