Even though the story line in the song is not about hunting, everytime I hear Trace Adkins song YOUR GONNA MISS THIS I realize how true it ism My son is grown now and in the Marine Corp and I am fixin to be a grandpa as of February. I am pumped about it even though it does make me feel old.

Thanks everyone for the awesome pics and stories. I got divorced 8 yrs. ago and my boys were moved out of state. I never had the opporutnity to hunt with them when they were young, never had a lease, and am new to deer hunting myself. This will be the first year that we will share time together at the lease, and I hope that the short time we share will instill a love of the outdoors and an interest to pursue similar venues in their home state of So. Carolina. Hope some day to hunt there together as well. Wish us luck!

good luck brotha medic.... i know about them moving, she used to live 5 mi from my house and has since stayed in the same state just moved to college station..... it sucks that i used to get him from daycare on any given day and now im havin to do the every other weekend..... i make the most of what i got to work with man, is all you and i can do!!!! you ever up in my part of the world medic hit me up ill put you on some east tx hogs....!!!
