horses and oat fields advice needed

I've got a few horses coming into my place and I will want to kick them out on pasture, but all of my pastures have oats planted.
I know some feed is to hot for horses and they can founder, what about oats?
The pasture I'm planning on putting them in has been hit hard by deer so the oats are short and they will have to work for them.

I also have corn feeders and I'm assuming they will be into those also, so I guess I will have to put up a fence-pen around my feeders

    any advice would be great
    Thanks
    David

Fence your feeders and turn them out they will be fine.

X2. I run horses horses and weaned colts on oat and rye pastures all winter they will do fine. If you want any corn left for the deer you better fence the feeders.
