I am hunting. I used to always look at the moon when hunting, but over the years at EAST TEXAS hunting, i have come to the conclusion that I have no clue when those bucks are going to be moving, so i just hunt anytime i can and hope for the best.

I think when deer are in a position where they are utilizing feeders as their source of food, it does not matter what the moon is doing. They know if they want corn they are going to have to come when the dinnerbell is rung. Now if your hunting food plots that is a different story

I will be hunting sat. morning!! Full moon or not deer have to eat and an all day hunt is prob the best bet with this weather!!

I don't think food is priority #1 for most bucks right now, so get out there and hunt. I hope to hunt this weekend, and I HATE full moons. I love the rut though.

There should be a lot of mid-day movement with the full moon and cooler weather this weekend. Rut is winding down in my area, but the deer should finally start hitting the wheat. Unfortunately, I have to work. It will probably be the best weekend of hunting so far this season in our area, but what do you do? Rent has to be paid!!

Rut has not started for me yet so im relying on feeder time. All day hunt is a must. Seen some of the best deer around 11-2pm

I hunt when I can regardless of moon phase. Over the years when the moon is full I've noticed more mid day movement.

I'm not hunting. I never have had very much luck hunting the full moon( I have shot deer though).

I'll be out there. Any time I can spend in the woods is time well spent, and a nice stress relief from the daily grind. Plus.....you can't kill one if you're sitting on the couch at home.

some people wait and go out around 10 and hunt till 1 in the afternoon
and have good luck on moonlight nights. I always hunt the same as dark nights.
with about the same results. one thing for sure if you dont hunt you dont kill.

You cant kill one sitting at home, so I always hunt no matter what the weather/moon looks like.
