    Steiner customer service

    My Predator's broke at the hinge. Anyone have any dealings with them. Are they fairly accommodating with their warranty?

      Not yet, but I'm fixing to call them. I'm seeing double out of mine. Very dissapointed in these binos. Thought they were supposed to be high quality. I have a cheap pair of Red Heads that are much brighter and gather more light that I paid $100 for.

        I just sent mine off to them. They wouldn't confirm or deny whether they were covered under warranty. I'll find out in 3-5 days when they get them.

            I bought mine from someone here on the TBH classifieds. Can't remember who, but now I know why they sold them.

              I have some that the eye caps / covers came off. They said they didn't have replacements for my model, which is about 8 years old. I was kinda surprised, b/c they don't look much different than the predators.

                I had mine break in the same place for no aparent reason. I called them they gave me a case number then I mailed them. they had and them about two weeks. ups tryed to deliver them yesterday but a signature is required. we had to change the return address to my wifes place of work that cost 4 bucks no charge for the repairs.

                    i've had a couple pairs and had excellent customer service with every problem including those that i caused. I had a set of peregrines that i broke right after i bought them and they sent me a brand new set pretty quickly.

                    Should have never got rid of them!

                      Ellis, my glasses came back today and it looks to me like they gave me a new pair. can't say enough good about that the glasses were about 6 years old certainly well taken care of but far from new

                        dropped a pair out of 15 ft tripod, caused double vision.

                        told the truth, sent them in, came back working great. not sure if they sent me new ones or not, did not care.

                            Had a pair I bought in Germany. Never had a problem and the guy that stole them likes them too.

                              Received my brand new replacement pair of predators from UPS today. No questions asked. Great service!!!
