You can but use the gel it does not dry as fast so you can get the vane set.I use crazy glue and it works good too.

I use the Gel also and it works great. The only other I have been recommended by a bow shop is Goat Tuff. I use the Goat Tuff for my inserts.

Yep, it's Fastset gel (and more expensive!) but the same stuff (cyanoacrylate)

I used the fletch tite and was always having vanes strip off, started using super glue from the dollar store and the problem dropped by 97%. Two problems, cleaning the old glue off becomes more troublesome, I started wrapping my arrows so this solved that problem, second you get some frosting on shaft and on jig so you have to clean off the jig every once in a while. This will be all I use in the future!
