I am not looking for a rating. I am looking for advice from folks who have been there to help me get on some exotics. I have a chain on tree stand and a pop up. I know about scent control and playing the wind. I know that they are smart and are hunted hard all year. What I need to know is where to hunt and weather to hunt in a tree or in a well brushed in pop up. Also any atractants that work well. Thank you in advance for your info.

Listen to Scooter! I have hunted CC 3 times and always have a good time my favorite spots are the oak mott and stand #2 behind the camp. If you hunt behind the camp or in the oak mott there are places to hang a tree stand. As far as bringing a popup if you are only there for 2.5 days I dont think the animals will get used to it that quick they are pretty skittish out there. There are brush blinds at waterhole #1 and #2 I have hunted both of them and seen animals but the shooting lanes are real small.
The best advice I can give you is to hunt all day Scooter feeds twice in the morning because the whitetail like to eat first. About 10am scooter will start to pick up everyone thats wants to come in let him stop for a second open and shut the door and let him take off you will see alot of movement after that.
