Placement of Ground Blind?
11-25-2009, 10:18 AM
I'm trying to figure out where to place my shipping crate blind. Right now I am setup with a tower blind at 75 yards. Little too far for a bow.

Which direction is north? Top of the pic? If I only have one stand/blind for the location I usually put it east of the feeder -- in any case I would put in the least common wind direction for your area.

Up is North. I am thinking putting the box where the word feeder is and a tripod directly across in that NW group of trees.

Check the prevailing winds. Around the area I hunt, the prevailing winds are usually SE, and after a front the winds shift to the NW.
Good Luck,
Rob

I would try to put it to the SW of your feeder. Most of our winds are SE and would also work for NW wind.
