Converting My Flyfishing Vest Into....

A hunting vest. I have a Columbia flyfishing vest that was given to me a couple years ago brand new. Since I don't flyfish I think I can put it to good use as a hunting vest. It has about thirty different pockets of all sizes, inside and out. I could even buy some dye and camo it Don't know what to do with the fuzzy thing in front though The only bad thing is some of the pockets are velcro. I hate fumbling around trying to find one specific item in a big pocket filled with my other junk. Just wanna keep my junk organized. TBHers, good idea or not? Anyone know how to dye clothes? I would ask the wife but she'd give me the look and then I'd probably give up on the project altogether

True. Only problem is it makes clothes "crunchy"... don't ask how I know.

Seems like a good idea to me. Get rid of the velcro and replace with magnets or buttons. As for the fuzzy thing... that's your call.

I think I'm gonna try it. I've looked at backpacks, fannypacks, and everything else and just can't find anything I like. About the fuzzy thing though......

tie little tiny hooks to all your crap, and then you can use the little fuzzy thing.......
