Please help: Would like to borrow a muzzleloader (DFW)

I will be flying out of DFW on Thanksgiving to Arizona for a muzzleloader elk hunt. I will return to DFW on wednesday December 2nd. Originally I planned to buy a gun, but do not have the money to make a purchase before my trip. This hunt means a lot to me. My very first elk hunt and first big game hunt as well. My best friend claimed residency in Arizona after playing baseball three years for U of A, and put me in the draw for a tag. He was drawn last year and killed his first elk! We will be hunting in the mountains east of Phoenix, near Show low, AZ.

Does anyone have a gun I could use? I will take care of it like it was my own, and clean it before returning it to you.

    References available!

    Thanks a ton!

I have one you can use. It is a CVA 50 caliber Mountian Stalker. Never fired it and do not know alot about it but you are welcome to it. You can shoot it and see if it would work for you.

You can call me @ 817-658-1133

Thank you for those who replied. Engine4on, I think I will be needing a scope on this hunt. Does yours have a scope?

2050z, sent you a pm. Thanks

That is awesome of you! I hope you get it back in the same shape it left in so to uphold the reputations of the board members.

I think this young man will care for the rifle like it was his own. Kinda comes with the territory around here. Good Luck Kieth, and great gesture Timm.
