Thoughts on an E. Tx 8

Actually, think he'll technically make 9 (has a small point on the left tip). Won't grace us with a full head on view or a daylight view either. I think this is one of the tallest racks I've ever seen - thoughts?

First pic shows a little sway in his back and a pretty good paunch, plus a good brisket, 4.5 and in my book a definite shooter, at least if he walked by my stand.

Really nice tall guy. And you have a space ship on your lease.

That's a great 4.5 yr old buck. If he shows up in daylight he needs to take a dirt nap. Just my 2 cents

I'm thinking 5 in the first pic but the second pic says 4 to me. Either way I could not pass this deer!!

Any idea on score?? Just curious. The Apollo 13 in the background is a feeder called aptly The Capsule. DH business partner is 74 and thought this would be low to the ground and easier for him to fill . . . it's really not easier. You have to bend down to put the corn in and it'e really a strain, rather than picking the bag up on your shoulder and throwing it into the traditional winch type feeder.

I think he is 4.5 and a shooter for sure.

New here, so I hope I'm not overstepping and offending anyone. Thanks for all the imput. I have been looking at all the posts for scores and ages. I'm quite intriqued by those of you that score from a picture. The aging I'm starting to feel comfortable with, but I have no clue on scoring. How do you do it - do you just eye-ball it from experience or do you actually have a way to measure the picture? I get tickled because some of the scores given are so precise, I'm sure you must be playing with each other a bit.

Just for comparison the deer on the right was killed by a friend earlier this year in a high fenced hunt and scored 158 & change. See, I'm not so sure that the E-tx deer comes close. How do you figure those things out?

By the way, the big boy was killed by my DH business partner, scored 224+ and lead Los Cazadores for a couple weeks this year, giving a 74 year old his 15 minutes of fame which he truly relished (guess it was worth every penny)!
