    Night hunting with a Laser!

How many of you guys use a laser pointer style sight for night time pig hunts? I have one that mounts on to a square framed sight but I'm now using a round framed sight and cannot mount the laser onto it. Anyone have any ideas on how I can mount it or attach it to the bow frame. I really don't want to buy another set of sights.

I have one but have never used it.
Mine was about $120 and it has its own bracket that mounts just like a regular sight.

I've got a crimsom trace laser grip on one of my bows for just that purpose. There are good and bad things about it, but more good than bad. It's micro adjustable with small allen screws, throws a good beam out to around 80 yards, and is highly accurate. I've found that it can and will spook the hogs, so you better know which one you're gonna shoot before you draw. Pressure on the grip activates the laser so once you draw it will come on. Cost was around $225 when I bought it. I like it because you don't have to add any mounts or brackets to your bow. It just replaces the existing grip.

The one I have cost around $50 bucks and mounts onto the sights, it has about a 12" cord with a small button that you can attach to your grip with velcro. It works really well and has a small lens you put over the laser that makes it project a shotgun pattern with a bright red dot in the middle. Its doesn't have a brand name on it and I can't remember what website I bought it off of. You can see the dot out to 300 yards.

I've dropped my red Crimson trace 357Sig on jack rabbits and pigs. As soon as the dot hit em both of them jumped or squealed like they'd been hit with something.
              I've heard green works better.
