    Caution!!! Check your used arrows!

I was going over my gear getting ready to go out next weekend. I was checking the straightness of my Easton FMJ's and came across one I had used earlier this summer on a small sow.

    I saw this:

          Your yard stick is bent.

They are super hard to break, but they will bend. Good eye, that could have cost you a deer.

appears to me that your ruler is NOT straight as an arrow!

A quick spin test on the finger will tell you if it's out of wack. It looks more like the ruler is crooked than your arrow.

Also, I could be wrong, but I've never heard of a bent/crooked carbon arrow.

Carbon will either break or be straight!

If I'm not mistaken these have an aluminum core like the ACC. Right?

It was defenitely bent. You could see it when you looked down the shaft. A spin test confirmed it. This is an Easton FMJ so the carbon arrow is wrapped with metal (aluminum I think??).

Carbon core w/ aluminum around it. They are much more consistant than carbon.
