    Indoor Shooting Range

I'm looking for advice on setting up an indoor range at our new shop. We will be opening the doors of the new GameTamers shop around May 1. Both myself and my partner are avid bowhunters. We will be inviting friends and TBH's to come join us.

I'm thinking of a large Block Target on a overhead door track that will vary in yardage at the click of a button. Maybe a falldown target.

    Ideas?

I would suggest a stationary 20yd set up for bow tuning and the such. An adjustable target is a good idea if you can roll it out to like 40 yards. I don't see much of a need to shoot at like 12 yards or less. A falldown target is a good idea too as long as you can protect the hydraulics controlling the target. Someone will shoot a line, cable or whatever else you suspend this target with. Not on purpose, but it will happen. If you want to see a fast return, and year around action, put in as many 20 yard lanes as you safely can, and start holding league shoots. They are awesome when it is too cold outside to shoot, and 3D season has ended. Good Luck with the new shop, and WHERE IS IT AT????

It is 2800 Cullen St. Fort Worth. Its not an archery shop, we are GameTamers Tree Stand Company. We are doing this set up for friends, family, TBH's family. We plan on having an open door policy, just drop by to say "hi". Doors to open mid May.

I don't know how much room we will have for a league shoot, but we plan on building a nice shooting range. We love to hunt too!

Cullen Street - Is that around White Settlement Road somewhere - close to Angelo's?

Jerp. Yep, right behind Autobahn BMW. Come by and say hello. They are doing our finish-out now.

The door track idea sounds really cool but financially, you could have a large block target every 10 yards for a lot less money.
