have a project and need information.

I have to do a project, and for my topic I chose The Anatomy, nutrition, and habitat of white tail deer.

I have to have 3-4 primary sources(sources that have had formal learning about white tail I.E. biologists, scientist, ect.) and 3-4 secondary sources( sources that go off of what they have heard and know about white tail I.E. Hunters, land owners, ect.)

Do you guys know any good websites that would fit under each catagory? or is there any specific information that you think needs to be put in my project? If so all information is helpful and greatly appreciated.

    thanks

Logan, I can't tell if this is a high school or college project, but my suggestion having made a career out of going to college is to narrow-down your topic considerably or else you'll wander all over the place.

For example, "What is the impact of a selected dietary nutrient on white tail antler growth in east Texas". Or something similar. The more focused your topic, the easier it is to get 'r done.

    My experience, anyway.

thanks for some help. When I suggested the topic, my teacher told me she didn't think I was going to be able to come up with enough information for it. I told her she didn't know how much information was out there.

I'm not sure if she'll let me narrow it down but i'll check for sure

      (this is a highschool project)

        Logan:

Look up collage wildlife mang. departments

        Texas Tech
        A&M
        Angelo state

There are research white papers that could help.

        Hope it helps

          What's your deadline?

If you have some time, contact your local wildlife biologist, get in touch with QDMA, you might want to try guys like tecomate or similar foodplot companies for books/info they have. Tell them your dad's an outfitter with land to foodplot...!!

If you have specific questions, you could try writing to the journalists or writers to see what they could help you with.

          Good luck!

Set up your "project" from the beginning. How long do you have to do it? What's the teacher's expectation about the length of the paper? Then plan accordingly.

You could take the claims made by companies that market feed supplements for whitetail deer antler "male enhancement", compare them and then check with people who use them or at universities or TPW and see how their experience compares. Could be fun.
