No doubt! Our little problem ended up being in a low water crossing. When the water receded due to the drought there was a 1-1.5 foot gap. We really have no idea how many deer went on vacation! The reason for the second fence is due to the cost of stocker deer. As long as we had natives we really were not that worried about it. As for exotics, only certain species are an issue.

Thanks guys, they all came to my dad's place! Seriously, we've seen 4 deer in the last week on the 16 acres my dad lives on. This is a place that NEVER has deer, we've seen maybe 10 in the 25 years he's owned the place. My niece saw "a big one with horns" yesterday. Now, to get something set up to keep them coming back!

        Follow up:

Two of the three were seen this morning. Manager was riding horseback checking fences and spotted two of them together. The cull is still in hiding...I wonder if he knows his time is limited?
