How do yall rate the Mathews Monster?

I am debating on wether or not to get a Mathews Monster or. Would yall please give me some pros and cons, and grade it on a scale 1-10. What good qualities do they have other than being blazing fast. Thanks for the input yall.

I have one, other than the grip being too big I like it so far.

Draw cycle is not as rough as some people describe and I have been able to stack arrows on top of each other with it already.. No complaints so far..

Shot one and liked it. Draw isn't rough, it just has a "hump" before dropping steeply into a definite valley. I did find that it needed the string supressor or it tended to slap the arm. I was almost convinced to put my money down, when the Bowtech Destroyer was announced, so I'm waiting to try both down at Allstar in Lewisville

I've shot it along with all the other new bows. If all out speed is what you want the Monster is it. If you want all around best hunting bow I would have to go with the Mathews Z7.

Ive shot it and didn't care for it at all....too top heavy for my liking and I shot Mathews bows for 11 years. With all the accessories on the bow it was very heavy and IMO too much weight balanced near the top limb pocket.

I have drawn but not shot the reezen's and the monster and I did not think they were anywhere near as smooth as my switchback.
Hard hump and short valley, no room to relax even a little bit. Let-off was good and you need to hold them tight to the wall. Don't relax or it's gonna jump.
The ones I've seen shot were blazing fast and quiet.
I noticed a couple of the guys having this holding on the wall trouble like I mentioned and one accidental release.

I'll be shooting my old SB for a long while yet, even if it is kinda slow by today's standards.

Heavy, top heavy and odd feeling to shoot.
                  Rate it: 6

too long axle to axle, too heavy and too ugly for me but thats why i love my DXT cause its just the opposite!

If you talking about the regular Monster, I have one and it shoots smooth and hits hard. I love mine

I've never really been into speed bows till I bought my Monster and I was definitely surprised. It does have a noticeable "hump" before the valley but it's got to get the speed from somewhere right? The new Monster 7 might be a good one to look at.

                            I'm getting 318fps at 72lbs with a 405gr arrow giving me about 91lbs KE

I've had the DXT, both Switchback's, both Drenalin's, a few Conquest, Icon, Legacy, Q2XL, and many others and it shoots just as good if not (mostly) better than them all (The Coquest is more friendly, usually making it more accurate for shooters)

                              Exactly what i thought too.

IMO the draw cycle was actually really nice for a bow with a 5" DH. But, the hump at the end was horrible! The bow is very very heavy and not ballanced well at all IMO.
