    Sabinal in the Spring

    I thought you might enjoy some pics from our trip to the lease in Sabinal this weekend......first one is me headin' to the Frio for some morning fishing

    Next one is the shoot off at the dump, Scott (L) & me (R). Scott's new Kahr P40 was not hitting correctly, I refrained from administration of the shooting lesson he so richly deserved.

    Finally, we ended the day with some catfish that I bowfished from Lake Palestine near home.

    It was a great weekend with good friends.

      No turkeys during the hunt on Saturday (front moved thru Friday evening and it was real windy Saturday all day), but they did gobble in the pasture just outside of camp on Sunday morning as we were packing to leave. On Saturday, I fished while Jeff, Scott, and the boys hunted.

        Stu,
        I think you got a hold of my Kahr and moved the sights while I was busy working.
        I'll get them set when it's broke in and then we will go at it.
        I'll get some trail cam pics up shortly. (hopefully)

                No, that one is the acrobat. The one that growled at us was on the ground. He was so fat I don't think he could climb the leg.
