    S&W 357 question

My dad has a Model 19-3 Smith and Wesson 357 that he is thinking about selling. He asked me if I knew what it was worth and I don't have any idea. I know they were made in 1967 or that is when the -3 designation was given since they changed the location of the rear sight screw. It is probably 85% since there is some wearing on the barrell in the blueing from being holstered. If anyone has an idea on its worth, I would like to hear it. Thanks in advance.

too many options to nail down a price...maybe if you post some pics.

I checked some completed auctions on gunbroker but see $325-$450+ for used 19-3's

Barrel length, blue, nickel, original grips, etc....this all plays into the final $$$$

Thanks for the info. It is the 4" blued and it has houge grips right now but he does still have the original grips for it. It has a little blueing wear on the end of the barrell due to holstering. I might just buy it from him and keep it, if not, kenforu, I'll let you know.

Original box will bump up value some as well.
