Age and Score?

This deer just started showing up on my trail cam. How old do you think he is and what will he score? I'm thinking 5.5 and around 130.

I'm thinking 4.5, but I think your pretty close on the score. Where is this place at where it gets to 30-32 degrees?

I agree with the 130 but he looks younger to me. Maybe even as young as 3.5 based on neck size. Maybe one of the resident age pros will chime in.

You are probably about right on score. But I would lean toward 4.5 on age.

He sure has a big belly and sway in his back. I am going with 5.5.

I believe your very close. 5.5 for the big belly and starting to get the sway back. 125 score for the fairly short brows and g4's. Nice deer.

I have pictures of this deer back in August where I thought he might be 4.5 also. But with these new pictures I'm leaning towards 5.5. There are a lot more pictures of him I just posted the ones that gave the best view of his rack. The 4th picture I posted is a little better view of his body as he is walking. That picture and a few more that I didn't post is what leads me to believe he is 5.5. I guess I will make a decision on him when I see him in person. Hopefully he comes back to this feeder pen because it's in bow range. I will have my bow and rifle with me hunting this weekend. And I'd much rather shoot him with my bow because I think he might make Pope & Young. But if he doesn't come into bow range, the .300 WSM is gonna bark at him.

he sure looks 5.5 to me, don't know the score but i'd sure be happy with an ldp of him.
