I have had really good success with it. I keep my dog's food bowl on the back porch and the flies were covering it up. I got 2 one gallon ziploc bags most of the way full and hung them from the porch. Within an hour or so most all of the flies were gone. Be the next day, I did not see one anywhere. I am sold on it.

I call BS on the water in the Zip Locs.......The two restaurants I've been that had them, had their fair share of flies. Now they were both hole in the wall mexican food joints with excellent food. When I asked the waitress why they had them up there when they obviously didn't work, she said it was merely for those people that did believe it but she didn't personally...as I swatted at a fly on the table.....

If you've ever had the good fortune to eat at any of the Rudy's BBQ joints around Texas and sat outside in their patio dining underneath the waterbags you will notice the lack of flies. Some say to put sugar in the water. I would've thought this would draw the flies. Maybe it does mess with their vision, but I know without the water bag, they sure do seem to flock to my sweet tea!!!
