Yesterday Evening - A Few GOOD-UN Pixels

Wrapping up a full week of whitetail rut activity near home. Yesterday evening I setup in an area looking for this guy. Sure enough, he worked in with a doe....closest I've had so far this year. I've been hunting hard....the goal.....CLOSER!

I'm hunting a couples miles south of Centerpoint. You think the bucks are trailing does down that way? I really haven't seen any rut activity so far.

Huntindad yes they are! The entire roll down I-10 from Kerrville to San Antonio is littered with the carcasses of whitetail bucks, does and a few axis. It's dangerous to drive after sundown, be safe zipping the back roads.....they are running everywhere.

Fishndude it's all low fence, free range, no hunting with cattle and yes the owner knows me. Been hitting this scene for 4 years now...even the deer know me
