    camera wraps

Where do I get camo wrap for my video camera?

    #2
I would try to find your camera on SKINIT.com. You upload the camo pattern you want to a pre-loaded cut out made for your camera. Place the order and you will receive it in the mail. It's a peel and stick type and works pretty good. Doesn't fade or wear easily.

Call CamoWraps, order a small piece as if for your truck (probably 3M Controltac). When you get it in use either a heat gun or a lighter to heat the film as you stretch it round corners. Trim it to size as you go. You'll probably mess up the first attempt, but it's pretty simple when you get the hang of it. 90% of my customer do car wraps, and a few are getting into wrapping laptops, phones etc. My phone is wrapped in MOBU, but it's also a commercial cos I sell the vinyl that the camo gets printed on.

Campbellcamera.com sells some precut skins for certain models.

I bought a roll of camo tape (not duct tape, but the kind that had paper backing that had to be peeled off before sticking). I think I got it at Academy. I cut pieces to fit and stuck it on my video camera. Not bad at all. Just took 15-20 minutes.
