Maker's Mark, Knobb Creek, Buffalo Trace ( a new one I found in Lexington, KY) Woodford Reserve.

A good Kentucky bourbon should be enjoyed at room temp in a heavy glass.
It is allowed to have a good dark beer chaser.

Once you try a good bourbon, you will never mix it with anything.

I don't drink liquor very often anymore but when I do - like at the lease - it's a "small batch" bourbon. Basil Hayden, Knob Creek, Bakers and Bookers to name a few. Most are bottled at 40-50 proof and best sipped straight up. This is bourbon for people who really like the taste of bourbon - if you are going to add it to a mixer you are better off going with a less expensive brand. I enjoy it in a small glass with with a single cube of ice.

If you drink Vodka and you have'nt tried Dripping Springs, I would suggest you try! My wife went from Grey Goose to Titos to Dripping Springs...

never had 40 creek before. Labor day, had 40 creek and diet coke and it was smooth. It is the only one to drink. You can by it at deverage depot in dallas for 38 handle
