Makers Mark and Diet Coke.

I once read that the lack of sugars (in diet coke) enhances the bourbon flavor.

My choice is Jim beam and diet coke. Like makers mark and crown mixed with diet coke also.

Less sugars also means less hangover.

Try Vanilla Vodka and Coke Zero. Not a huge fan of vodka myself, but I make this for my wife and she likes it.

A mexican friend of mine who is a tequila expert told me Los Cazerderas (sp) and squirt was the finest drink known to man, never tried it but this guy seemed to know his tequila.

Mix this in a tall glass and then add about a 1/2 oz. of this stuff called "Vuida de Sanchez." The end result is a drink called a vampiro. I learned about it from a Robert Earl Keen song off of the "What I Really Mean" album. You can find the "Vuida de Sanchez" at most hispanic grocery stores. Its not the greatest drink ever but its interesting to say the least.
