So me and my wife have been bow hunting for a long while now and I guess it has finally rubbed off on the family. My sister came into town and asked to shoot my wifes hoyt. We went out in the back yard and she placed 3 perfect arrows dead center of my target. So she woke up this morning and decided she couldnt stand it, So we went down to the local archery shop and 700 bucks later my sister is a proud owner of a new bow. If any body has any helpful hints for her and me to help her learn and be a good shot please let me know.

Practice perfect--pay special attention to form and placement of anchor point and general feel of bow when she practices. Make each shot a good shot, don't just go out there and shoot just to pull the bow back. Aim small miss small. Most important when she gets tired stop--it doesn't do any good to practice once you are tired--form breaks down and shots get further and further off. I usually shoot 3-5 sets of 3 arrows and quit. Practice morning and evening and see how many arrows it takes you to get tired. Remember on the hunt the first one is usually the only one that matters. Good luck, Hope you get the big one.
