    Ipod/ Itunes question...need help

My bro in law gave me an ipod a couple years ago, and before he gave it to me, he had my mom load it with all her music. So, when I got it it had 4500 songs on it. Now I have some new songs on my computer I want to upload to it and I want to be able to organize the music, delete some of what she put on it and do what I want with it, but it won't let me.

If I try to sync all music, it tries to delete all that she put on there. Is there some website I can download some software from to where I don't have this problem anymore?

I think that you won't be able to because it sounds like you do not have that playlist on your itunes account. Is this correct? That would explain why it keeps trying to remove her songs. You might try and contact apple I think there is a limit on how many times that you can share you tunes it is like 4 I think. Also might try some of the apple forums and ask there.

yeah, there is a limit on how many computers you can use. I can download new music on my computer and upload them to my ipod, I just can't organize any music that my mom put on it, and I don't want to start all over.

enable disk use on your ipod....transfer the music you want from the ipod to your computer...then sync

Yes there are two ways to do it.

First one is to plug the ipod to the computer and then go to my computer and open the ipod. You should be able to open the folders and select the music . Sometimes you have to change a setting to show all hidden folders (but i don't remember where that is)

If that doesn't work for you I would go to

cucusoft.com and you can purchase some software that will allow you to do it.
I bought there converter, so that I can convert DVD's to mpg4 so I can watch my movies on my ipod. I did a bunch or research and this one was voted the best of the best.

              Good luck.
