    Screwed the pooch big time!!

    Well this is my luck...
Saturday my intention was to sit from 10:30 till dark as I figured there would be midday movement with the moon up all night. Only saw a few deer about 2:00 with no interest in the feeder.
Then about 6:00 I had 4 does and 2 fawns come in.. Figuring that none of them were in heat, as they were running together and hadn't kicked the fawns out, I decided to take one of the larger does. With 12 eyes watching it took some patience to get a good shot.
Finally got a good quartering away look at a fat doe and dbl lunged her. I heard her crash about 40 yds away. Boo Yah!!
I waited about 15 minutes as the others wouldn't leave. My singing (grunting and whistling didn't work) got them spooked and as they left I got down and started heading to my doe. I looked over my right shoulder and low and behold there was Muy Grande heading to my set up right down the fence line!!
He didn't see me so I nocked an arrow and crawled to a shooting point where I thought he might come out. As I waited I heard crashing in the woods off the fence line and a doe came running out at full speed straight at me. She saw me at about 15 yds and hooked a right at full speed. Never saw the brute again...
But I did get a doe...

Doe is already at Syracuse and I'm home. Gotta cut up a tree for my sister and put in a water heater for a lady friend... Can't hunt all the time...

He'll be back. Doesn't sound like you boogered him...just the doe.

Good luck with him Mike! Oh, and congrats on the doe.
