    Flooding on the Sabine

Been to the A&M game this weekend (beat Iowa State) and have been getting updates from the deer lease. Our lease is about a 1/2 mile from sabine river near the Louisiana border close to Logansport and with all the flooding our lease is totally under water. Started a couple of weeks ago with the lower parts (where my stands are) under about 5 or 6 feet, as of yesterday morning the highest part (camp), had a foot of water on it. I have been checking levels on the computer but wondered if anyone else had problem with lease?

I think it has crested, but will take weeks to receed.

even if the water level goes down some parts are going to hold water for a very long time. thats the case at the old sabine wma. when the river goes down the trails will still look like creeks.

Wow..........sounds like you need to throw out some duck decoys and make the best out of a bad situation.
