Alright guys after leaving Fort Worth last night at 2 am. We arrived in Pagosa. Springs this evening. We drove the 850 miles with a stop in Clayton to let the horses out. We have to run to Durango in the morning to get a replacement tag. My hunting buddy's tag was lost in the mail! I'll try and update this thread as possible and let you know how we are doing. Season starts saturday! For those of you that have done a hunt like this a lot of preperation goes in to this kind of hunt. Hopefully we will reap the rewards with some well earned animals. Keep us in your prayers. Weather is bad. 12 degrees tonight when we hit the sack.

Goodluck.....my dad called and said the San Juan Mt were supposed to get socked with a foot of snow. I know they already got 4-6 inches in the lower areas.Comment

Good luck in the 3rd season we take off on the 9th for the 4th season. We hunt Durango I hear they are moving good ahead of this cold front.Comment
