Yesterday my boyfriend got his truck stuck while cutting cedar. A friend that lives at the ranch pulled him out with his Kia car. He said its so light it doesnt sink in the mud. I wish he would have taken pictures.
When I was about 16 my dad sunk his truck, then I got my truck stuck trying to get his out, after that I got the tractor stuck trying to get our trucks out. THEN, dad got the backhoe to get the tractor and trucks out and got it stuck. We finally called a wrecker since mom wouldnt let us use her truck.

So, we went down to the hog farm last Friday to feed and make a few adjustments to stands and etc.....well, we notice the truck sliding around a little which has NEVER happened.
On the way back out, we stuck it in the mud at least 200 yards from pavement. Well, buddy after buddy after buddy was called and to make a long story short, we got all the trucks, tractor and 4 wheeler out Sunday night. It finally took two rock crawling Jeeps to get everyone out. Those things are bad arse!! The END!!!
Never again!!!Last edited by Fishndude; 10-28-2009, 12:37 PM.

An entire towed howitzer battery.
Camp Roberts California, 1992 ish
6 HMMWV's + M119 105mm guns
2 Deuce 1/2 trucks
5 ton ammo supply truck
1 HMMWV FDC vehicle
1 5 ton recovery vehicle(Army tow truck)
All sunk up to the door handles. Battery Commander had been "instructed" not to move due to the mass rain we had in the previous 2 weeks already. But, he figured it would hurt to just pull forward a couple hundred yards, then the gun crews could get some more training in re- laying and implacing ...
Every vehicle listed had to be sling load rigged & air lifted out with Black Hawks and a Chinook.
Battery Commander..... relieved.
And by relieved, I don't mean "whew...glad that's over"

well my boss got a 50 foot cultivator with a 95E Cat track over the weekend i went over there today in a John Deere 8530 to pull everything out and it barely did it, the tandems on the plow were stuck and werent turning because of the mud so thats another reason that it made it harder. I wish i woulda had a camera that was pretty sweet watching all 8 tires on that JD spinning.
