    Which String Silencers?

I've been using the super string leeches for crossbows on my Hoyt Vectrix but they have broken off. Which string silencer do you use and how long has it lasted? I'm tired of these things starting to break off after less than 100 shots.

I use Bow Jacks. No problems so far and they seem to work ok.

Put on an sts and lose the leeches completely.

You'll have to replace them often if you shoot alot but they will quiet your bow best.

was going to ask about how to get the bowjacks installed and found that it looks like they have a slot and you use a zip tie to anchor?

Cat whiskers. End of story! Nothing else lasts long enough to keep me from getting annoyed.

There are a few different bow jax made. One has the slot, so that it can be installed with the bow as is, and secured with ty-raps.

Mine....like in the pic above.....slide over the string. You have to take the string off your bow....wax the string....and use this little hootus that looks like a cotter pin, to pull the string thru the bow jax.

Yup, 2 tiny zip ties per jax. They last a long time but not near as quiet as the whiskers.
