Cabelas warning

I was at the Buda store on the 16 of Oct. We ate up stairs charge #1 New wadders,dog blind and other miss stuff charge #2 A friend called ran back in and picked up a few things for him charge #3. Every thing hit the bank on the 19. They just rechared every thing out again on the 26. Look at your bank or credit card statments if you were there around that time. Called Cabellas and they are doing credits at this time. Waiting to see what happens with the overdraft fees that are now adding up on my debit card.

Yes they charged all three on the 19 then again on the 26. Needless to say that I did not have that much sitting in the bank when the second set of charges ran.

Ouch! they should also reimburse you for ALL of your overdraft fees since it was their fault if they don't talk to your bank. Did they say why you got charged twice?

The Fort Worth store hit my Am Ex card with duplicate charges 10/16. I called yesterday and they said they were in the process of fixing it.

Same here. Also had original charge on the 16tha dn another charge on the 26th.

I was told they are aware, don't know exactly why but the obvious is that they double popped everyone with charges on the 16th....I was informed that all should be corrected by tomorrow....

What a fun day just got back from the bank and off the phone with cabelas. I never use cash just my debt card so all the little stops and a check to TPW for the boat reg. I am just over 400.00 in over draft fees and the bank said that they will not drop them after cabelas reverses the charges. And cabelas is not overly helpfull about the over draft fees. Gess will have to give it a few days and see what my acount looks like and then go see a lawyer. If it wasn't for the 500 mile round trip I would take everything back and order it all from some place else. OK vent over for now.

I think all you need to do is go stick your foot in the G.M @ Cabelas in person and they will fix the problem, shouldn't need a lawyer.I just noticed you aren't close enough for the in person visit but call and talk straight to the G.M. and if necessary threaten with the lawyer they will come around ( i worked @ the Ft. Worth store for 2 years and they will usually bend over backwards to resolve a customer issue)

So strange. I went back through and looked and have two charges on Sept 8 for 14.05 and 14.16 and two charges on Sept 21 for 21.52 and 21.64. Not good.

Are you guys calling the individual store or some customer service line you found online?

I have called the Buda store the customer service line from there web sight and the Sidney office. Any number that you call they will tell you that there is a problem and will tell you that they are working on it. And that the charges will be reversed.

Cabelas SHOULD cover any and ALL overdraft charges because THEY are at fault. I would also have a STERN Discussion with the bank that you are dealing with....
Just my 2 cents..
