    How do you "grunt" ?

For those of you that use a grunt call and are really successful. How do you do it? I've used grunt calls and can calls for years and only had it work 2-3 times.
So during bow season do you "brrrp...brrrp" or "BRRRP...BRRRP...BRRRP!" or just a soft single "brrp" now and then? How often, deep or high, how loud, do you add in bleat/horns and is there any special time you do it?
PLEASE try your best to explain to me/us how you grunt that brings in more bucks than other ways.
    Thanks!

I had two really nice bucks come strolling in yesterday right before dark. When they got to the fence and jumped it looked like they were gonna take the back way to the pond where my dad is set up at. So I pulled out my long can and let out a bleat. They were standing at 85 and about 100 yards and they never looked up or my way. IM ASSUMING they couldnt even hear it. They did end up coming my way and they were chasing a doe or at least the scent of one. They were in full trot mode and only took them a matter or less then a min to make it 4 or 500 yards before they came in to 30 yards of me. I was waiting for one of them to make a few more feet my way into the feeder but the wind shifted and they bolted. Made me sick cause these were not any of my normal 8 points I have on cam. Hopefully they will make a return visit soon enough. Then wind has been in my face every time i have hunted so far this year and the one day these guys come in it decided to shift. What are the odds lol..... They bounced back to where they came from and went down to the pond. I gave out a couple of more bleats and try to do a little rattling but they werent having none of it.
