Another Bowtech Guardian Thread/Report by Bowwiz

Ok,all yall talking about the Guardian's yall got and how pleased yall was with the bow,This is Yall's fault

Yep,i couldn't take anymore waiting, since handing over my Liberty to BAR,and reading all the reports on the bow.I went ahead and bought it,and i'm not regretin' doin it.
Kevin, you know when you 1st shot the Liberty, what you felt.....well my friend,Don't shoot this Guardian,it gets 3x's enjoyable then that bow.
I picked up the bow last thursday and slept with it(Luckie)LOL for 2 nites before sitting it up.Its a 60-70# bow with a 28.5" draw,I then took my TT fallaway that i unbolted from my Liberty and put it on my Guardian and bolted up my sights and peep sight, not adjusting anything. It shot a bullet hole 1st shot,I can't pull 60# right now due to my recovery,so it was set at 58# when i 1st started shooting it Sunday..Here's what i'm getting out of it for speed
    My Target arrows-ACC 2-49 Hyperspeeds-300 gr. total weight-290 fps
My hunting arrows-Beman Hunter Elites 400's-380 gr. total weight-270 fps
It is by far the Most ugly, most quiet, handshock free bow i've ever held and i love it. There's going to be alot of critters dying over this bow !
And i don't need no stinkin bow press to change strings if needed.
I have a 2004 BowTech Pro40 dually thats smokin fast and a tack driver,it will be posted over in the classifeds soon.
Thanks Jim at Archery Country and BowTech Archery,we changed my shooter bow to the Commander now.I've always perferred the longer ATA bows for target shooting and this will be my next target bow for a few years to come.
    That report coming later!

Congrats on the Guardian Wiz. While I did move to Bowtech this year it was with the Allegiance.

I looked at one the other day...didn't get to shoot it, but I will say it's not as ugly in person as it looked in the ads (course, that aint saying much) Mabey I am just getting used to it. I would like to shoot one to see what all the hype is about. Congrats!!

Congrats on the new ride! I don't think I'll be going back to my dually after getting my guardian. I too may have some bows to put in the classifieds (I just can't part with 'em yet).

Congrats Bowwiz, I made the mistake of shooting one yesterday. I still want to shoot a few more before deciding but so far it is the front runner.

Thanks everyone,i'm really happy with Bowtech,i'm been shooting em since i talked Jim into carrying the BowTech line.I've watched Bowtech go from a very small comapny into a Major player in the industry over the last 6 years.
I had a idea for a compound that didn't need a press to work on years ago and even destroyed a Hoyt rasier in my Pro shop trying to make it work,*Kudos to Bowtech for such a fine product..and it started with VFT!
-Clent,i remember talking our order on your 1st BowTech in 04,i left AC the next week ----Looks like you got critters dying over your Guardian,Congrads on the Audad!
-Mine will be drawing blood soon and it will be on video-i hope

David on a side note, can you give a little info on the Poor Folks Archery sign on the wall behind your Guardian? Who owned the shop?
