I'm looking at going up after sitka blacktails soon and this type of stuff scares the crap out of me.
No fat, that bear looked poor. It saw that guy not as a threat but as dinner.

No doubt it saw him as dinner, guy was just lucky he had his pistola, double lucky that he was able to pull off the hail mary shot that killed it. Whats scary is that someone will say that the guy should'nt have been there or will somehow make it out to be his fault.

I need to clarify this was not me , I found it on another site and thought it was an incredible story, so I posted it up. Glad the guy came out on the upper end of the story though.
