    I finally pulled the trigger...again!

On a truck. Those of you who have delt with me over the past 3 months, know that I have been looking for a diamond in the rough with a VERY limited cash purchase budget. Trying to sell a Lexus, selling it, trying to buy a vehicle, flying to Colorado to buy a Jeep and realize it was not what I wanted, trying to sell the Jeep, having the Jeep stolen, and looking at over 3000 vehicles on autotrader, craigslist, and no less than 5 forums, including TBH.

A solid Christian, who I met through this process back in August, and happens to be in the Auto industry just bought me a truck at the Denver auto auction.

Now I feel like a kid on Chirstmas Eve. I can't wait for it to get here so I can go over it with a fine tooth comb.

AHHHHH......the insanity is OVER!!! Now...back to my first love, Jesus. And my second love, my wife. Oh.....and my obsession with bowhunting whitetails in the rut!!!

Nice truck there Mudshack. I used to have a 1997 extended cab. The only two things I ever had a problem with were the plastic skirting around the front bumper coming loose and the reclining front seats sometimes not wanting to stay up. They're pretty solid trucks too. I got rear ended pulling in to a Captain D's by a mid 80's Mustang. It hit my rear bumper right by the ball hitch. That car was almost destroyed while my bumper had a dent the size of a ball peen hammer. And I mean that car was trashed. It looked like it ran in to a tree.

Weird buying a truck after only seeing 1 picture. So I really want to put my hands on it. But I completely trust the guy who bought it at the auction for me. He has been in the industry for over 20 years, and is a Christian first, car dealer 2nd. God has blessed him with this as his ministry, and he just pulled me out of the pit of insanity that I have been going through.

Now....I will have a vehicle to get me to the woods. Haven't hunted a single morning due to the kids need to have a ride to school. Being a 1 car family makes you realized how blessed we are to have 2.

Here are two better pics. I already have plans for rhino lining the bed, fenders and rockers to preserve the rust free body.

Apparently there are some new(er) Geolander H/T's on it.

thats a good looking truck. God has a plan for everything and right now was the time for you to get a second vehicle.

Congrats and thank you for inspiring those of us who read these forums to remember to depend on God for eveything.
